Several days ago the Russia Analyst published an article titled, "Russia vs. the West is a Scam: There's No West Anymore, Only Pockets of Western Civ in People's Hearts and Minds". The title summed up our feelings about what we increasingly refer to as 'post' Western society, in the sense that those claiming the mantle of 'the West' have no right to the title and are usurpers. For how can the West exist without those things that made it Western in the first place? Christianity -- or at least the weaker sauce of 'Judeo-Christian values', a love of liberty and creativity as opposed to the post Western values of subservience, ugliness in the body, the arts and behavior, and stupidity (the ancient Greeks' value transmuted into Orthodox Christianity that truth is beautiful and in beauty is found truth, also known as Dostoevsky's line that beauty would save the world)...and yes, whether you're talking about beautiful Roman Catholic churches in Mindanao, Mexico City or Milan, at least some bit of Indo-European linguistic and genetic heritage in the making.
If the last line offends you as 'racist' when it isn't, I'm sorry, even though the Russia Analyst readily acknowledges that these days many Indian Brahmins and Pakistanis act more British than most white citizens of the (Dis)United Kingdom -- it is what it is. Suffice to say, there are reasons -- and not just historical or geographic -- as to why the explosion in art, science and exploration known as the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and their successive Industrial and Information Revolutions came out of Europe or European settled North America in the last five and a half centuries. Yes, even though besides the Greco-Romans and Byzantines, the civilizations of the Near East/Mesopotamia, Indo-Persia and China had dominated human achievement prior to that point.
However, as we've also written here at RogueMoney, 'the West' and Enlightenment values have had an amazing run before they betrayed their own values and began to commit suicide in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, spawning the 'Dark Enlightenment' of Nietzsche, Freud, Spengler and their successors today in the Manosphere who note the 'Red Pill' truths about fallen human (including feminine) nature -- what the Orthodox Christian fathers call our 'unruly passions'. Compared to the larger length of human civilizations stretching back far deeper in time than conventional archaeologists or Book of Genesis literalists care to admit, the civilizational and lifespan leaps of the last five hundred years are just a brief interlude. We are not yet (unless you believe in hidden super technologies bequeathed to us by the 'aliens' aka to this Orthodox Christian the fallen angels) even a Type I civilization that has managed to get off this small rock floating through space and the Milky Way, except for very short distances.
The sunset years of the post-West are neither the 'end of history' in the false Hegelian/Marxist/Fukuyama secular sense nor very likely as Christ tarries are they the end of time or Armageddon. As is written in the first chapter of Ecclesiastes, verses the Guerrilla likes to indirectly quote during his podcasts:
Point 1: With Another Huuuuuge Win in North Dakota, The Donald Officially Secures Enough Delegates to Clinch the GOP Presidential Nomination
With that philosophical rant out of the way this Memorial Day weekend, we return to our regularly scheduled RogueMoney program of erudite analysis and commentary of current events. We also concur with the Guerrilla, despite our recognition that the Anglo-American Empire is on its last legs, that this is a tremendous time to be alive, and there are hopeful signs of green shoots that will emerge from the rubble of the destroyed fiat currency economy and anti-culture it spawned in the last century all around us.
Point 2: The Failure to Stump the Trump Shows How Unpersuasive the Entire Mainline Cuckservative and Fake Liberal Establishment That Serves the Globalists Really Are
The rise of Donald J. Trump, despite the candidate's personal moral failings and egoistic foibles, is one such event. So is the widespread panic in the Establishment as it realizes what Trump's success represents, beyond the failure of the #NeverTrump ers or the so-called 'conservatives' like Glenn Beck who are now revealed as the bankster shills and right wing of the same globalist bird of prey they always were.
The Establishment's ability to control the Narrative is failing. Not since the Gilded Age oligarchy's reaction to William Jennings Bryan over 115 years ago has there been anything like it. Pillars of what was to be the new mainstream media, led by the likes of Gawker, Buzzfeed, and Vice, even more in your face with their social justice warrior-ism (SJW) than the old liberal media of Walter Cronkite and Dan Rather, are collapsing.
A new media is rising from the ashes of the anti-media, with the cream of sites and virtual communities like RogueMoney rising to the top over the dregs con artists, the 'we're all doomed' panic mongers, the .gov disinfo feeders, and the dishonorable toadies of power and privilege. As some Russians like to say, there is a reason Stalin had the panic mongers shot in 1941 when the Nazis were pouring in to Mother Russia. Now is not the time to panic but to learn, plan, coordinate, and prepare.
Point 3: If Trump is a Stealth Globalist, Why Are the Neocons Declaring The Donald Will Usher in a Dark Night of Fascism Across America and Wind Up the U.S. Empire Abroad?
The ancient Chinese curse of 'may you live in interesting times' is in full force, with the rise of a new but ancient superpower half a world away forcing a long overdue debate within a soon to be former globe-spanning empire. In this sense the Chinese challenge, as opposed to the partially real, partly globalist contrived first Cold War is good for America -- it forces us to remember who we were and what we can be again. If Trump's campaign slogan 'make America great again' is the first tacit admission by anyone besides Dr. Ron Paul that America hasn't been great in some time, then we as red pilled free thinkers can see beyond Trump the man to the movement that is re-shaping politics across the post-West, not just in the United States.
Consider the following hysterical quote from Robert Kagan, whose wife Victoria Nuland, ironically ensured that a genuinely fascist AND incompetent regime was installed in Kiev (to those who say fascism and incompetence are mutually exclusive because Mussolini made the trains run on time, I give you the Ukrainian regime aka 'Banderastan', which has thousands of political prisoners aka 'separatists' and is responsible for far more deaths than the Argentine junta of the 1970s and 80s), complete with SS Das Reich black sun and rune flag waving/unit patch wearing Azov Battalion Nazis:
The fact that a bloated, war and violence-fetishistic creature like Kagan not only fears that a Trump Administration will mean the end of his wife's career of promoting foreign policy mayhem from Foggy Bottom, but also of his own comfortable revolving door between government and think tank land, is one of the best reasons I've seen thus far to vote for The Donald or at least if conscience does not permit that, to vote against he and his wife's preferred psychopath politician Hillary Clinton and support Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. Who is after all staying in the race after the entire Democratic Establishment has told him to drop out, in no small part because he continues to cling to the quaint notion that winning more primaries and votes than his opponent should count for something, and also because he knows Hillary may soon be indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice in criminally mishandling highly classified intelligence data.
Point 4: Trump is Inspiring a Nationalist International of Resistance to Globalism
Back in December 2015 we wrote the following lines in our forecast of the coming year:
The recent hysteria among American journalists like Miriam Elder that Donald Trump is 'a threat to America' and thus is being supported by Vladimir Putin for this reason and its enthusiastic re-tweeting by hundreds of Atlanticist think tankland and even government-funded Twitter accounts shows that politics is increasingly personalized and defiant of quaint concepts such as borders, national sovereignty, or Putin adding in his [not-too-effusive comments on Trump in response to a reporter's question] that ultimately 'the American voters will decide'. Apparently if the voters of France want Marine Le Pen or the voters of the USA want Trump, extreme measures may be justified to save the Anglo-globalist Empire from the prospect of avowed nationalist/s undermining its cohesion. [Note this prediction has also come true, as Glenn Beck's buddy author Brad Thor has mused in a strictly hypothetical sense about the prospect of some lone 'patriot' assassinating Trump, while denying he did the same- JWS]
It would not surprise us in the least if Marine Le Pen truly started to approach a winning margin in pre-election polls in 2017 if neocons and even some taxpayer funded hacks at RFE/RL started dropping hints about postponing the elections or even a military coup in France [note: RFE/RL and many of its Russophobic employees are already attacking Trump at U.S. taxpayer expense, by putting Hillary Clinton surrogates' lines in big headlines - JWS]. As evidenced by their enthusiasm for the violent overthrow of a corrupt but duly elected Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, hardcore Euro-crats and Atlanticists don't have much use for elections that don't turn out 'their' way. Even when overturning them through violence, as with the so-called Maidan 'revolution' or putsch, results in civil war.
For her part, Marine Le Pen the leader of the euroskeptic and anti-Russian sanctions French Front National (FN) party has declared Hillary Clinton a threat to world peace, implicitly but not directly endorsing Trump and The Donald's slam of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and other European leaders who follow Washington's lead while admitting huge numbers of Muslim migrants into the EU:
As President Barack Hussein Obama recently said, world leaders have been 'surprised' and 'rattled' by the rise of Trump. In remarks that appear to be justification for Obama breaking the bipartisan precedent of lame duck presidents not actively campaigning against their potential successors of the opposite party, Obama said:
Implicit in Obama's speech is the bipartisan and almost universally accepted within Washington notion that no decent international order can survive without the indispensable nation, aka the Empire of Chaos or Exceptionalistan, at its heart. The coming decade is likely to prove that proposition wrong, at least in so far as the retreat of American military and coercive currency power may be accompanied by peace breaking out, not greater wars once the ability to fund them with unlimited fiat issuance from Syria to Ukraine has failed. Certainly, without IMF funds the Kiev regime would be too dead-ass broke to continue its stalemated shelling war on the Donbass.
Marine Le Pen's warning about Hillary Clinton's warmongering tendencies shows that Obama is wrong to claim that the entire rest of the world Zero presumes to speak for is only concerned about Trump and not his opponent winning -- particularly in Russia, where both the TV pundits and polled respondents' preference if they have one is for Trump because they fear a President Hillary Clinton means NATO starting a war with Moscow. But the most important reason why a Trump or Sanders victory is necessary is because either one in the White House would likely give foreign governments and political parties something they've heretofore lacked -- not only the ability to say 'no' to the EU and NATO, but also to Washington.
Despite Trump's tough guy rhetoric at the end of the day he is a pragmatic businessman, and an individual who thanks to conversations with a former MIT professor relative has a genuine fear of nuclear war. While Trump has declared that European NATO members aren't paying their fair share of its costs and that he is prepared as a negotiator to walk away from the Atlantic Alliance, at no point has he actually threatened any U.S. ally with 'do what we say or else' -- unless one regards the long overdue withdrawal of American troops from Germany or Japan as a 'threat'.
Ms. Clinton has none of Trump's redeeming and realistic character traits, nor the anti-war voting history and focus on domestic affairs that Sanders would bring to the White House. If anything, the real party pissing off American allies isn't Mr. Trump for giving them some 'tough love' and telling them to pay up or in the case of Japan and South Korea consider nuking up, but the Clintons with Bill's arrogant lecturing of Poles about how America freed them from Communism and now they're backsliding on 'democracy'. In response to this idiotic drivel spit out by a New York Times and Economist reading has-been, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's aide correctly told George Soros to get his arm out of his geriatric Democrat Party horndog puppet Bill's rear end:
Point 5: A Trump Victory Would Help European Nationalist Parties and Even Non-Nationalist Governments Work Up the Nerve to Not Only Oppose Brussels, But Also Washington on the Cold War 2 Russia Sanctions Policy
In addition to Le Pen's condemnation of Hillary! and Bill's foot in mouth syndrome revealing Anglo-American Atlanticists views of those dumb Polacks and Magyars as second rate Europeans who need to shut up and obey Brussels, another story widely ignored by the mainstream media in the past week involving Europe was the rising regionally-based resistance to the EU sanctions on Russia.
Of course, the EU itself is likely to renew the sanctions this July for at least another year, but not without a cost to the bloc's own credibility. Why?
Somebody's butthurt Europeans are getting tired of losing money and jobs for Uncle Sam's diktats to the supposedly sovereign nations of Europe regarding Russia...
As the Moscow-based globalist (or more like an Orthodox or any form of Christianity-hating Commie, note the irony in that) American expat hipster Jim Kovpak (@RussiaWithoutBS) sneered, Veneto isn't able to change the sanctions policy of the entire EU, nor is one fifth of the French Parliament that voted for France to dump the sanctions. Well no Mr. Kovpak, that's not entirely the point. You see the EU itself claims to stand for this principal called 'subsidiarity' -- better known to Americans as federalism.
That is under the 9th and 10th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, whatever is not explicitly prohibited to the states and in the EU the regional governments like those of Veneto or Bavaria or Wales that Brussels ironically promoted to undermine the sovereignty of the national governments, is supposed to be allowed. Implicit within federalism on both sides of the Atlantic however is also the idea that the states and regions or oblasts in the Union or Federation also have a say in the federal center's policies. Ditto for 'democracy' when it involves parties opposed to the EU's stupid and Washington-appeasing sanctions policy like Austria's Freedom Party come within a hair of winning parliamentary majorities:
In other words, the Soros Commie Atlanticist hipsters like Kovpak can have their democracy, or their Cold War 2 with EU nations all beaten into line by Uncle Sam, but with the trend not being their friend thanks to the great Mideast immivasion they welcomed (or alternatively, tried to #BlamePutin and #BlameRussia for), pretty soon they won't be able to have their cake and eat it too. As with Brussels sanctions' threats against the new nationalist Polish government that was elected by very large majorities, the democratic mask is going to have to come off sooner or later and the EU's rotten but ultimately clownish rather than fear-inspiring totalitarianism is going to be exposed to the whole world.
"Anti-Russian sanctions should be lifted ASAP" - leader of Saxony, Germany
The other problem the Atlanticist fanatics have is that subsidiarity allows Russia to chip away at the United States government and EU's deadening hands on the Continent's mainline political parties, by working directly with regional parties like Italy's Lega Nord or Die Linke and AfD in the old East Germany to promote trade, especially in areas that the EU and U.S. cannot legally sanction yet, where Russia can offer exceptions to its counter-sanctions. This means the EU has to stick with its claims to tolerance of regional economic diversity and opinions, or bare its fangs on behalf of its true masters in D.C.
Thus we not only see the Veneto regional resolution recognizing Crimea as a part of Russia, but also the Bavarian Prime Minister Horst Seehofer ignoring his U.S. puppet Chancellor Mutti and flying to Moscow in February for direct talks with Putin, and the Austrian government that preceded the incoming Greens grouping declaring flatly in April, 'no one will prevent us from cooperating with Russia'. And in a move that shows just how seriously Hungarian Prime Minister Orban's government takes NATO's rhetoric about Hungarian troops potentially fighting Russian invaders in the Baltic states, Hungary is now in talks with Russia to modernize its Mi-17 helicopters (!).
In conclusion, a new world is opening up with new possibilities in politics. Victories for the post-WW2/Cold War status quo like those of the presstitute-backed Greens over the Freedom Party in Austria are likely to prove short lived, just as cheating the FN out of placing first in France via collusion between the two major parties only delayed but did not halt the nationalist backlash. Austrians and other Europeans continue to undermine the U.S.-imposed EU sanctions regime through peaceful means, patiently chipping away at the Anglo-American global empire in the way many of their Eastern European forebears did against the Soviet Bloc.
Just as many hardcore Soviet comrades decided to shoot or drink themselves to death after the Berlin Wall came down to East and West German shouts of 'Gorby! Gorby! Gorby!' at vanquished East German border guards, the taunt of European and especially French nationalists against their flailing bought and paid for D.C stooge Atlanticist overlords after this November may prove to be, 'Trump! Trump! Trump!'.
We hope people like Kovkpak who seem to derive their entire self-esteem from Uncle Sam's ability to bully or bribe Europeans into line when it comes to Russia are ready for that day (and did we mention the Malaysian and Russian governments just announced a joint investigation into MH17 without necessarily including the Dutch Safety Board or Joint Investigative Team? Why would they need that if Kovpak is right and his pals at Bellingcat proved Russia shot down MH17 from their couches in England or the U.S., thousands of miles from the crash scene and the Malaysians were convinced the Russians were guilty, evil liars?).
Unlike the hardcore neocons who gave us the Kosovo, Iraq, Syria and Ukraine wars, we'd hate to see people like Kovpak off themselves like some Soviets did instead of realizing there's life after Empire and the violent export of an ideology to the rest of the planet.
