Fifty years from now, we'll look back with cyber eyesight and marvel at how it all happened so fast. In 2018, a forward-looking Baltic nation with Teutonic and Slavic roots placed the economic fate of their country into the hands of one of the many Pimple-Faced Wonders of the nascent Age of Crypto. Estonia has, for all intents and purposes, adopted the ESTCoin as a national, legal tender.
Many thanks to our RM team member Ken Schortgen Jr. for picking up on the announcement that the ESTCoin is coming. In Estonia, they have a program known as "E-Residency." According to this Wikipedia article about E-Estonia [linked here], E-Residency is a clever program that Orwellian sci-fi movies have barely dreamed of. Estonians have already been living with it for four years.
In late 2014 Estonia became the first country to offer electronic residency to people from outside the country, a step that the Estonian government terms as "moving towards the idea of a country without borders." Under this program, non-residents can apply to have a smart ID card issued to them by the state, providing the same access to Estonia's various electronic services that a physical resident would be given.
The data for e-Estonia is not stored centrally, but instead uses a data platform run by the government called X-Road to link information from local hosts. X-Road is rooted in a blockchain called K.S.I., developed by Guardtime, in order to prevent tampering. The system is backed up on servers in Luxembourg, which is governed with the same protections afforded a diplomatic mission. The system is designed to allow the government of Estonia to function even in the event of an invasion by Russia.
Well that's comforting. I had to blink my eyes several times to make sure that I wasn't reading a movie script. I'm not sure which is more unnerving: the potential for Robots to also become E-Residents, or the fact that E-Residency is assured of continuity in case of Russian invasion. Somewhere in the back of my head a voice is screaming the name "Peter Thiel" because Guardtime sounds an awful lot like Thiel's company Palantir.
Close enough. There is a big connection between DARPA and none other than the U.S. Department of Energy with Guardtime per their own website page [linked here]. Now what oh what would the DoE be doing with a company that offers Blockchain solutions to itself as well as to foreign countries? Oh right, the energy grid is the backbone of the new global population of the future. Can you imagine the monthly electricity bill when all 10 billion of us become dependent on our hybrid body parts and have merged onto the Great Singularity Highway?
Regarding whatever Peter Thiel's connection to Guardtime and the ESTCoin might be, we already know. According to that same webpage referenced earlier at EchoFin.co, Vitalik Buterin, the inventor of Ethereum, is actively involved with the creation of ESTCoin. And we all do remember who invented Vitalik Buterin? The Peter Thiel Fellowship. Quite a handsome payoff for a measly award of $100,000, wouldn't you say?
Ethereum: Robots Don't Leave Home Without It
It's clear now why the ESTCoin has been developed. In fact, I'm just going to come right out and say it: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, ESTCoin, and whatever other cryptocurrency that is or will come to be is intended to primarily serve the transactional needs, not of YOU the human being, but of digital beings. Quinn Michaels made this clear in one of those interviews he gave to Jason Goodman. Ethereum, he basically said, is Sophia's money.
Therefore it should not surprise us that in the same week that the ESTCoin news was getting circulated, Sophia's grand-daddy was announcing his "intention to participate in the integration of" #AI with Estonia's G-Global Business Portal, per this article at CoinSpeaker.com [linked here].
Ben Goertzel, the world’s leading specialist in the field of artificial intelligence (founder and CEO of SingularityNET, a blockchain-based AI marketplace) confirmed his intention to participate in the integration of the artificial intelligence system into the communication platform G-Global Business Portal. Mikhail Korb, a Member of Parliament and the Secretary-General of the Centre party of Estonia has endorsed the project. "Openness to new financial instruments is an important step of digitalization of the country economy and strengthening its competitiveness in the world’s stage", said Mikhail Korb.
The application of the AI, developed by Ben Goertzel, will provide both experts and customers with quality technical support: communicating with the platform users, the AI will be able to find the best solutions and provide the necessary information. The AI will be able to recommend specific experts of the G-Global Business Portal platform based on the needs and objectives of the client or enterprise.
It sounds like #AI will be doing an awful lot of work. So it's a good thing that her creators came up with cryptocurrency, else how else would she get paid?
A Planet Without Borders
I'm not going to pass judgment on the new digital reality that has been planned for us by our Babylonian Priesthood overlords. I don't have the energy or the time for it any longer. All I can do is inform you, the reader, that while you blinked, your world was turned inside out. Nobody asked for your consent. They simply handed you a SmartPhone and gave your kids an X-Box and said, "Try it, you'll like it." And we did. And they were right.
There's no going back now, not if you intend to let the Priesthood keep pulling the puppet strings of your life. In a move that reminds me of how Christopher Columbus burned his ships once he landed in the New World to make sure his crew didn't come down with a sudden bout of homesickness, our old fiat money system is currently being likewise burned to the ground. The new power centers of EurAsia are just about completely integrated into a New World of their own with a bearhug embrace of the Digital Fantasy. You can trying swimming back home if you like, but I can guarantee you that the tide has other plans.
